this is a global humanitarian mission!

Successful businesses and well-off individuals could do more to help end extreme poverty around the globe by doing something as simple as funding micro-finance programs for very impoverished entrepreneurs. Very poor entrepreneurs in Africa and around the world, are operating with tiny capitals and struggling to make a living for their families. Corporate leaders do not have to go to Africa, Asia, South America in search of these needy entrepreneurs. Organizations like ICAfrica would do that for you. All you have to do is Partner with a good social enterprise NGO to help you extend your support through charitable giving. As good corporate citizens, leaders of developed western country firms must embrace the idea that a better world is one in which most people, especially the grassroots, are given a fair chance to succeed. The more success we have around the world, the more business we could do with each other, the more peace we have and the better we all are.

ICAfrica is currently operating in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and Uganda -  offering micro loans and business coaching to impoverished entrepreneurs. It would be nice if firms in Canada, USA, UK, France, Germany and other developed nations, partner with us or with some other NGO and sponsor some micro enterprise development programs (not "feed the people" type of program). As an example, in one of our project communities in Kimende Kenya, we presently have over 1500 very impoverished enterprising families with small children, who are waiting for micro-loans and business coaching. They really need this to grow their tiny ventures and begin to earn better incomes immediately. Typically a micro loan of between $50 and $200 enables each impoverished family in this region to quickly get out of poverty through enterprise or farming and begin to properly take care of their children’s needs in food, housing, health and education. Please support ICAfrica to help these people. They are not asking for hand-outs but for small loans to help them to become more productive and contribute to the development of their local economies.

At ICAfrica, we believe it's a good thing for socially responsible companies to get involved!
